Chitra is our very own Maria from ‘The Sound of Music’ – fun, lovable, creative and up for a sing-along anytime! She is multi-faceted, meticulous and is also our resident grammar cop with a Masters Degree in English from the University of Hyderabad.
In her long career as a learning and development professional, she has managed projects globally in knowledge management, skills development and sales training, at organizations such as IBM and Accenture. Her last role was as Industry Lead for Work Readiness Skills at Wadhwani Foundation.
Chitra is also an actor, improviser, singer, scriptwriter, and storyteller with 20+ years of experience as a performing arts practitioner. She regularly consults with Bangalore Little Theatre Foundation for their Theatre-in-Education projects, and is also a member of the Bangalore Storytelling Society and the Federation of Asian Storytellers.
Passionate about green living, she has a skincare brand of her own to encourage people to switch to holistic and sustainable skincare. She regularly collaborates with women entrepreneurs to promote local, women-owned enterprises. At Navgati, Chitra facilitates workshops in the areas of communication, teamwork and inclusion.
