On the Spot

A two-hour session where you’ll experience for yourself the magic that improv theatre can bring to learning, leadership and connection.

“On the Spot” uses the modality of improvisational theatre. You will experience how improv theatre is a great gateway to spontaneity, collaboration and of course creativity. Through unscripted-theatre activities and games, the session will challenge you to move out of your comfort zones even within a framework of safety, and in ways that are imaginative and fun.

The session does not involve learning how to act. It is about using ideas and action to help teams (and individuals!) move forward. It will automatically invite insights in you, though tomorrow we’ll be focusing more on the “playing” bit.

On the Spot sessions are our way of giving back to the learning community that has sustained us for over 25 years. This is a complimentary session for those of us who champion learning (that could be HR, L&D, or business leaders) it’s also an opportunity to bond with your peers across organisations. The hope is that this evolves into a quarterly session and we build a vibrant community of theatre-based learning enthusiasts.
