A theatre based presentation skills program designed to help participants articulate their thoughts and designs to a group with confidence and clarity. Participants work with content, structure and delivery to make every presentation an outstanding performance.

Have you ever used one of those videos where, as a voice talks about a fascinating concept, a black marker draws the words out on a whiteboard? Have you ever felt awe struck at the clarity of the messages, and thought to yourself “That’s one thing I cannot do as a facilitator!”

Enter: Art In Facilitation!

Through this one day workshop we will use our fingers to warm up our minds and hearts, allowing for deeper conversation, surprising reflections and more inclusion.

The workshop aims to build our confidence as visual communicators by breaking down resistance, exploring concepts and visual metaphors, engaging with different approaches to using art during our programs.

What the workshop will cover:

  • Articulating the role of visuals in a workshop
  • Owning your skill in drawing
  • Building a visual vocabulary
  • Art based activities for programs

Do you need to be an artist? Not at all. You need to be a facilitator.
