We did a benchmarking study this year in March-April 2026 (our previous studies were done in March-April 2023 and April 2021) to understand how much coaches are charging in the Indian market.

Why do we do these? From all our work with supporting coaches on their journey, deciding how much to charge for coaching can be a difficult issue. There are often questions about belief in one’s own capability (“I’m not certified” “Am I good enough to ask people to pay me?”) and these are compounded by the lack of information about what the market will bear.

I’m delighted to present our 2026 survey results done amongst practicing coaches, all of whom charge for the work they do. We’ve found it insightful and hope you will too. Much gratitude to all the coaches who participated and so generously shared information.
